Departure
Left Singapore on 30th Oct afternoon with just one luggage sharing with Mr Shi.
Day 1
We reached Bangkok at around 4pm (Bangkok’s time). We are welcome by the hot sun with a very nice and clean air port. This is my first time in Bangkok, didn’t realise that their airport is so huge, clean and modern!
When all the immigration stuff were done, we went straight for cab to the hotel. On the way to the hotel, we saw Cows on the road side looking for foods which look very similar like what a stray dog will do. It is something that you will never see it on Singapore’s road.
After we reach the hotel, we went to Chinatown for our cheap seafood dinner with my sister and her friends.
Day 2
After a long night, we woke up with a fresh feeling and set off to Chatuchak, their weekend Market. It is a nice place for shopping but you need to be able to bear with the heat inside. It is quite very similar to our Bugis Village but with more variety.
We only spent our half day there as my sister needed to catch the flight back to Singapore in the evening. So we went back to the hotel with her and her friends. After seeing them off, Russ and I walked to Platinum Fashion Mall to my shopping. (Yes, walk! Our hotel is so near to this wonderful shopping mall!!!!)
That night, we were very tired and went to bed quite early that day.
Day 3
In the morning, we had our breakfast in the hotel and went straight to MBK directly. It is a nice place, but compare the price with Platinum Fashion Mall, it cost a little more. So I didn’t really buy any thing there. However, we had our lunch in a Japanese restaurant. We ordered a lot of food and it only cost us around SGD$40 which you can never find that kind of food with that kind of price in Singapore!
After lunch, we went back to Platinum again for shopping again!
At night, we went for Thai-Massage. It was a nice experience. Next time, I will try it again!
Day 4
This is the day; I planned to spend my whole day in Platinum. However, the shops will only start opening at around 10:30am. So I went to Platinum Market in the morning which is just below my hotel then we crawled slowly to Platinum Fashion Mall and that goes almost all my money!
Day 5
Our flight is in the afternoon. Therefore, after we had our breakfast, we went to Platinum Market to close our shopping trip. Then we headed off to the airport with two almost overloaded heavy luggage and two hand-carry bags!
I wish I can go again……
